    2017年11月9日,苏州大学骨科研究所邀请了哈佛医学院&牛顿-卫斯理医院骨科生物力学与创新中心主任李国安教授来我所交流访问并做专题报告,研究所教职工及骨科研究生参加了该报告。

    李国安教授的报告题目为“Orthopaedic Biomechanics - Research and Innovation”(骨科生物力学-研究与创新)。李教授长期从事骨科临床与基础生物力学研究,其研究领域涉及人体膝关节、髋关节、脊柱的生物力学,在国际骨科生物力学界享有盛誉。李教授结合临床实践与理论研究,创造性地提出结合解剖结构、运动和病人感觉来构建人工关节的新思路,以推进人工关节由“形似”向“神似”的发展。此外,李教授还结合临床病例,研究了目前治疗椎间盘退变疾病中的椎间融合和减压对二次手术的影响,发现目前仅采用减压不融合和减压加融合的方法,仍会引起病区或邻近节段二次手术的高发生率。这个临床现实问题的发现,显示了寻找新的替代疗法的必要性。

附:学者简介

     Prof. Guoan Li received BE degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1982 from the Northwest Polytechnic University (China), MS degree in Solid Mechanics in 1985 from the Chinese Academy of Science (China), and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering in1993 from the Johns Hopkins University (USA). He then completed the post-doctoral training in Biomechanics between 1993 and 1995 at the Johns Hopkins Medical School. After spending two years at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center doing research on Sports Medicine Biomechanics, he moved to Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in 1998 to establish the Orthopaedic Bioengineering Lab. In 2017, he established the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Research and Innovation Center at Newton-Wellesley Hospital His main research interest is in Orthopaedic Biomechanics, including mechanisms of human knee joint and spine diseases/injuries and development of treatment strategies. Recently, he has also devoted his effort to the development of artificial joint replacements.
