德国柏林自由大学马楠教授访问骨科研究所

2025年4月18日,苏州大学骨科研究所邀请了马楠教授来我所交流并作专题报告。研究所教职工及研究生参加了该学术活动。



马楠教授的报告内容主要为利用材料的物理信号调控干细胞命运。马楠教授一直专注于再生医学和生物材料,特别是干细胞和生物材料的交互作用。围绕该方面,马教授首先介绍了一种模拟囊胚曲率的材料,这种材料能逆转多能干细胞回到naive状态。其中,马教授揭示了YAP和E-Cadherin在其中的重要作用。此外,马教授也介绍了一种可调控干细胞行为的水凝胶,该水凝胶具有比Matrigel更优良的生物活性,能指导干细胞向肝脏和肺组织细胞分化。其中,马教授为我们详细介绍了他们制备的这种新型水凝胶应用于肺类器官上的研究。此外,马教授也介绍了多种组织再生材料。例如,她团队合成的一种降解速度可调控的新型聚合物心脏补片,无需细胞和其他生物因子的介入,能够定向调控体内巨噬细胞极化,从而分泌特异生长因子,抑制炎症,促进血管生成,促进心脏功能恢复。马楠教授的报告给参加讲座的老师和同学们留下了深刻印象,并激发了热烈提问和讨论。

  


附:学者简介

Professor Nan Ma is the founder of the Cardiac Tissue Regeneration Laboratory at the University of Rostock Medical School. In 2009, she co-established the "Translational Centre for Regenerative Medicine" at the University of Rostock Medical School and serves as its director. Additionally, she holds a tenured full professorship at Free University Berlin.

Since 2011, she has been a principal investigator at BCRT (Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies), Germany's largest regenerative medicine center, and has served as the dean of the Helmholtz Graduate School "MacroBio" since 2013. Her research focuses on the interaction between novel materials and stem cells, exploring how to design advanced biomaterial substrates to guide stem cell proliferation and differentiation.

In terms of academic achievements, she has published 196 SCI-indexed English papers, including 143 as the corresponding author, with an h-index of 48. She holds six U.S. and EU patents and has independently led and participated in multiple key research projects. Professor Ma has made significant contributions to the advancement of regenerative medicine and biomaterials, particularly in the study of stem cell-biomaterial interactions.
