香港大学机械工程系王敏教授访问骨科研究所

2026年5月25日,苏州大学骨科研究所邀请了香港大学机械工程系Min Wang教授来我所交流并作专题报告。研究所教职工及研究生参加了该学术活动。

教授以“Additive Manufacturing and Bioprinting and their Biomedical Applications”为题,系统介绍了其团队多年来在增材制造及生物打印领域的研究成果与方向,并分享了科研心得。王教授从3D打印技术的发展历程出发,详细阐述了其在组织工程支架制备中的独特优势,并进一步介绍了4D打印(利用智能材料实现形状变化)和5D打印等前沿概念。他还重点展示了其团队在选择性激光烧结、数字光处理、低温挤出3D打印及混合打印等方面的技术突破,以及开发的新型可打印生物材料和细胞-支架复合体,应用于皮肤、血管、骨、骨软骨、子宫、肝脏等多种组织的再生研究。王教授团队以临床需求为导向,在器官芯片、药物筛选及再生医学等领域也开展了大量工作。讲座过程中,王教授结合基础研究与临床转化,为生物材料和生物制造的发展带来了新的思路。王教授的报告给与会人员留下了深刻印象,并引发了热烈提问和讨论。



附:学者简介

Prof. Min Wang is a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. He received his BSc (1985) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and his PhD (1991) from the University of London, UK. He has worked at several universities in the UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He joined The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2003 and has been a full professor at HKU since 2008. He served as the Programme Director of HKU’s interfaculty Medical Engineering Programme from 2013 to 2018. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the Faculty of Engineering at HKU and a member of HKU’s Senate. Prof. Wang started biomaterials research in 1991 and began working in tissue engineering in 1999. For his contributions and achievements, he has been elected as a Fellow of several professional societies (including FBSE, 2011; FAIMBE, 2012; Academician of WAC, 2013; FRSC, 2020; FCSBM, 2023; FACerS, 2024; etc.). His research interests include biomedical materials, tissue engineering, controlled release, and bionanotechnology. His group develops tissue engineering scaffolds for the regeneration of various body tissues. Prof. Wang has authored a large number of publications in books, journals, and conference proceedings, and has delivered over 210 invited talks at national/international conferences. He is the Series Editor of the Springer Series in Biomaterials Science and Engineering books, is or has been an Editor or Associate Editor for several journals (e.g., Progress in Materials Science), and serves or has served on the Editorial Board of over 20 other international journals. He is/was an elected Council Member of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM), the World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers (WACBE), the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE), among others.
